Armando B. Suárez is a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney and former prosecutor with extensive experience trying high-stakes cases, litigating complex matters, and directing sensitive investigations. Armando focuses his practice on white collar and criminal defense, investigations, and complex civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the State of New York, as well as before the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Southern District of New York.
Armando served as an intern at the Union County Prosecutor’s Office beginning in 2010 and as an Assistant Prosecutor from 2012 until 2021, when he joined the firm. While an Assistant Prosecutor, Armando was a member of the Homicide Task Force where he tried six murder cases to verdict, led over twenty homicide prosecutions, and directed over forty suspicious death investigations. In 2019, Armando received the National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Gladiator Award for his prosecutions of two defendants, who he tried and convicted during the span of three months, in unrelated homicides that collectively left eight children without a parent. Prior to the Homicide Task Force, Armando was assigned to the Trial, Juvenile, and Appellate Units, where he tried over twenty jury and bench trials, and argued matters before the Law and Appellate Divisions of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Armando received his J.D. from Seton Hall Law School in 2012, where he served as research assistant to Professor Lewis D. Lowenfels, Esq., and assisted in drafting and editing the treatise Bromberg & Lowenfels on Securities Fraud regarding Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme. Armando also completed an internship with the Honorable Jose L. Linares (Ret.), United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. In 2011, Armando studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science and received a Certificate in Negotiation. Armando received his B.S., with high honors, from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2009, where he was a four-year member of the Stevens NCAA Division III baseball team.
